Hyber dumb but probably mostly right copilot answer
Question for hyper-intelligent CBers
The last time TNT posted a Far Side Cartoon the Gary Larsen people complained to Jefe about copyright.

How would they have known?

P.S. TNT couldn't get into BYU otherwise he would probably know the answer to this question.

The last **Far Side** cartoon was published on January 1, 1995². Gary Larson, the cartoonist behind this beloved single-panel comic strip, had not provided any new content since then. So, it's safe to say that fans have been eagerly awaiting his return⁴. As for how the "Gary Larsen people" would have known about copyright infringement, it's likely due to vigilant fans or representatives who monitor the use of his work online and take action when necessary. 😊
