...(specifically meaning another 5 or a low post guy) this gives me the thought that they're looking for some versatility rather than just looking for a guy with a certain height measurement (like CB clamors all the time for a 6'11" or 7' big). I like the focus that this staff has on finding more height/length at each position but also not limiting or pigeon-holing themselves with the old notion of this guy is playing "the 4" or playing "the 3" and instead looking for players who can play positionless in the rotation on the floor.
It will be interesting if we find a gold nugget late in the game where a gem falls through the cracks somewhere like Marcus Adams did for us last fall. It's too bad he didn't pan out and I hope he has a great year this next season. Not filling this last spot with just a big body with a height measurement so we can fill the spot is a good move. Keeping it open just in case can pay off down the road.
