Haha. It's college football brand, and brand recognition. CFB fans know those
old great uniforms from seeing Ty, Sark on sports illustrated, and wins against SMU, Michigan, Miami, Texas A&M, Kansas State, Wyoming in the WAC championship. Royal Blue was the right choice for the throwback if you're really trying to commemorate all those games that fans coast to coast took notice of.
