*Win the Big XII championship game--then he could say he won titles in two power conferences
*Go to the playoffs.
I am sure he would love to beat BYU and go out with a W, but I bet the first two are more important to him--he's already owned BYU for a decade. He does have an ego that eats at him though, so this maybe does mean a ton.
I assume he feels like this is his year. Tons of veterans with a grandpa (experience wise) for a QB. The question will be, if they don't get there this year and some key pieces move on to graduation/NFL, does he want to build it back up for another run?
Who knows. He is obviously a competitor. He also works himself into exhaustion each year--by the end of each season he looks like a ragged mess. When does the time come when he just wants to spend the summer at Powell and be with his grandkids?
