However, hard core ping pong players don’t love them quite as much (from what my kids say). One of my kid’s friends was a pretty high level player. Apparently a pool table is a couple inches higher than a regulation ping pong table.

I played a ton of ping pong growing up. I don’t notice a difference. But that’s the only complaint I’ve heard about that setup.
