We had one of the "used to have lots of issues cars". Yeah, it fell apart after 200k miles, but it was UNDER $10k MSRP
(crazy that those days were not that long ago! A new car for < $10k!)
They are reliable enough, though I'm not familiar with their turbo engines.
I trust JD Power more than Consumer Reports. CR is just what it is "consumer", I'm an Enthusiast, they don't value what I value and I don't feel they are a good indication. JD Powers has been accused of being "bought off", but their long term reliability trends seem to match up with what I see in the used market and personal experience with the vehicles on their lists.
It's too bad the Stinger is dead, I'd buy it over everything in the Honda lineup. Telluride and EV6 are up there for me too. Honda just doesn't excite me since the S2000 was axed.
