He was amazing, and especially in so many sports, but I would count Taysom Hill
as someone who is at least in the conversation as one the best pure athletes, at least as a pure football player that I've ever seen. His combination of speed and power (squats like a lineman), combined with his intangibles like work ethic and intelligence, really make him an amazing generational talent also. Although he also played other sports, he's certainly not as versatile as BO on a pro level in other sports like baseball and track. But in football, Taysom is amazing! He really could play every position on the field, and play each one pretty well. I even think he'd make a pretty good Olineman if he had to, with his strength, foot speed, and lower body beef.
Regardless, so glad Taysom's proved the "he's injury prone" crowd wrong, and that there have been coaches who have appreciated his value enough to help carve out an NFL career, and to allow us as fans to enjoy watching him do his thing. It would have been amazing if someone had done that for Jimmer, as I think he was likewise capable of magic, given the right buy in by coaches. Although, for Taysom, I'd love to see him move on from his current coach(es) before he get's older, as I don't think his current coaching team utilizes him as they could and should.
