INSUFFERABLE KNOW IT ALL
33 percent isn't bad. I'm confident if the same emphasis had been placed on 3 pt shooting then as it is now, Jordan
would have put a lot more effort into perfecting his long range shot and been a better shooter.

No other player in NBA history has recorded 4 steals in a game where the opposing team only had 3 TO. GOAT stuff indeed

Did you watch the whole game?

This is the exact point of the article. Back in 1987, NBA games were regionally broadcasted. Voters had one way to

The article is citing official NBA statistics. If the article is wrong, that means the NBA statistics are wrong.

Steals has never been a sole indicator of DPOY. Like at the year before MJ. It was won by Michael Cooper.

How exactly did voters compare two players in 1987? Most games weren’t broadcasted nationally. Voters couldn’t watch

Do you think voters watch most of the games now?

There’s a huge difference between “literally impossible to watch the games because they aren’t televised” and “might not

We get that you’re a hater, but why? You think someone else is the GOAT?

This is a sports discussion board and this article has been the talk of the NBA for several days now. It’s interesting

Not sure being more versatile equates to being the greatest (see Tom Brady)

Brady has the stats to back it up. So does LeBron.

Some stats favor MJ. Depends which ones you value I guess. But my point is noone

far from convincing, stats don't completely determine the award.

So he won DPOY despite road stat keepers docking his blocks/steals? GOAT. 🐐

MJ critics have a lot in common with flat earthers or moon deniers.

I personally think MJ is the goat, but few critics claim he was not good.

Saying “Michael Jordan was a bad three point shooter” is the same as denying the moon landing? When we have 15 seasons

1. 33% is bad for a shooting guard. 2. His percentage is skewed because of the two years they moved the line forward
