Like last week, sure. He played the best last week.
Scheffler has five wins this year, he won the masters, he won the players, he won RBC heritage, he won Memorial… Those are all massive tournaments with the best fields in the world.
You can’t deny he played better at Pinehurst, of course, Bryson won that event…. But I think it’s crazy to say he’s the best player in the world right now, that doesn’t even make sense.

He’s doing it against watered down fields. He plays in the Us open with LIV there & was lucky to make the cut.
