Payton would be smart to start Zach if he believes Nix is his long term QB. Let Nix sit for a bit. Some rookie QBs

are able to succeed right out of the gate, but it isn't like Denver is going to win anything this year and I don't think Nix is that special QB that is ready.  Maybe his age makes him more ready?  But I say sit him for a year (ala Mahomes) and let him learn the game.  Zach will hopefully do well enough to keep things moving until Nix is ready. 

As for Zach, he can maybe do well enough to get into a good situation, or stay as the backup in Denver to Nix, which really isn't a bad gig for him.
