renter and their household. Minor liability waivers signed by parents are valid in Missouri as well. When someone rents a bounce house, though, typically it's going to be for a bunch of guests, and you have no control over who shows up. It's impossible to get all the guests to sign liability waivers. That's why I don't rely on them.
Instead I'm relying primarily on the indemnity/hold harmless provision coming from the renter for these other guests. This provision typically will trigger additional insurance coverage under the renter's homeowner policy. It won't prevent my client from getting sued if someone gets hurt, but it adds another insurance company providing a defense attorney and money to satisfy any judgment that might come their way.
