He cheers for Utah but has never said anything disparaging about BYU, in fact he was committed to BYU before his parents made him turn pro. He shows BYU plenty of love (wearing BYU gear on Gameday) and is great friends with many of BYU's biggest supporters (Smith, Ainge, etc.) By all accounts he is an amazing human being and a great representative of the Church & the State of Utah.
