Almost none up until Patton. Nearly all of them from '82 until 2014 and tapering off again thereafter.
Used to go out of my way to see critically accclaimed movies. Gradually hit a breaking point with Hollywood's woke, preachy, hyper-partisan nature. There's still good stuff, but I'm reluctant to support the movie industry or pay today's theater prices for anything.
The $5.99 rental on Prime, at home in HD with my rather basic surround sound set up works just fine for me 9/10 times. It's my singular, double bird crying in the wilderness to today's hyper-partisan filmmakers. I only regret that I have but one double bird to give.
