After doing the road walk to connect the Bshop and Piute Pass trails, it ended up being a 41
Mile detour around 25 miles of trail.

One of my colleagues, who retired last year, is doing a large chunk of the PCT this year. I think he's way north of you

The trail is usually pretty easy to follow when it's not completely buried in snow.
