Sure, I think he "likes" BYU somewhat, but I think he actually likes the viewership numbers when he hypes BYU.
BYU fans online are fairly ravenous when it comes to BYU content. I can't think of very many teams that have the selection, quantity, and quality of TV and radio programming, podcasts, and YouTubers dedicated to the school athletics. There is seriously so much out there, and we are all there for it.
I think independence coming out of the dreary MWC days caused that. Tom H. kept beating the "exposure" drum (partly because that's the only drum we had) and it was all true. We were starved for content, and we got it. Now it's like a locomotive that just keeps chugging along.
