To be fair to the Force Awakens there was some really good writing there as far
As setting up future storylines. I like the “quest for Luke”, Han and Kylo’s Relationship and the mystery of Rey’s parents.
It’s pretty easy to forget those when two of them were total non factors going forward (Luke had not done anything exciting in exile and Rey’s parents were nobodies).
