It is definitely a loss to the program. We are really just one or two big bats and a couple starting pitchers away from being a legit team next year. This means the staff will have to find one additional bat.
Aloy got off to a tremendous start to his FR season. As the season progressed he had his struggles. He apparently has no position other than as a DH. I wish him well at Arkansas.
I haven’t heard much news out of the baseball program since the season ended. I know they announced signings of a SP from SLCC and an OF/1B from an AZ JC. Hopefully the staff has much more in the works as far as transfers coming into the program.
On another BB note I think it is a really good thing for the program that Justin Sterner and Daniel Schneemann were both called up to MLB this week. Very important for the coaches to be able to tell recruits that they can help them get to the highest level and have some evidence to back that claim up.
