Broke/dislocated a toe last summer to where it was pointing sideways. The

initial injury wasn't terrible pain, but my nurse practitioner BIL popped it back in right away and then about 20 minutes later, we were not sure if it were in all the way. So he attempted to align it again and that was excruciating pain since swelling had kicked in and the adrenalinehad ceased.
