Yes. Have lost 3 tallest players & replaced w/shorter guys. Tired excuse: guys
we have are not tall but they have 7 ft wingspans or they have hops. Those are helpful characteristics but no replacement for 7 foot heighth.
Look at the teams at the top of the NBA & NCAA: Boston, Dallas, Minnesota and Purdue & UConn. Small ball has its limitations.
