after reading your post I realize you probably weren't speaking of intentions, but to how things worked out.

And congrats to Mark on that. He earned his big promotion.

And for most of us who appreciated his time as BYU HC — he for the most part is now dead to us. Not in a bitter sense — he's just moved on from the school we love & cheer for. And ironically, for many of us who did NOT appreciate Mark as our HC — he lives on in their heads still.
