Why pay a professional when everything you 'install' will be outdated in ~2 years.
Rule #1.. keep it simple.
Rule #2.. Don't lock into one system (buy stuff that works with everything.. Google Home, Alexa, and Homekit).
Rule #3.. Realize tech moves fast.. and everything you buy will get outdated soon.
