About to order the Yale Assure 2 lock but not sure I want to go with Wifi
I’ve read the battery life can be as low as 3 months with the WiFi option as opposed to 12 months plus with z-wave. With multiple locks, I don’t want to be changing batteries nearly every month. I like that particular lock because it passes the wife test on the way it looks and it has a fingerprint option for the kids to use along with a few other cool features.

As I get started I’ve assumed there will be some other devices where I like the z-wave option best. Isn’t Ring z-wave for example? I’m sure there are other ways to integrate it without a x-wave hub. Also, I’ve heard if you have too many WiFi devices they can start interfering with each other. Not sure how big of a deal that is.
