than just being highest NIL bidder. That is, would be cool if BYU wasn't actually highest NIL bidder but there were other things that he valued (coaches, campus environment, networks, fan base, common values, community, etc) in addition to a good NIL deal.
That being said, still feels nice to be a big dog in the NIL race. Though soon, people will start accusing the Church itself of buying off players with all its wealth, even though we know that wouldn't be true.
