Wouldn't that onus be on the Dr.?
It hasn't been my experience with medical doctors that they will prescribe anything just because you want it.
So, if the Dr. has prescribed the medication, I usually assume that the patient and the Dr. have at least had a conversation about the risk vs. the reward there.
