For me it's around $70 saved, assuming the $106 for a full synthetic change
at Jiffy Lube is correct. I pay about $25 for 5qt of Mobil 1 at Walmart, plus another $13 for the highest grade filter. I use an oil extractor that sucks the oil up out the dipstick hole. My filter is on top of the engine so I never have to get under the car or even jack it up. I barely get my hands dirty. Most of the "work" is waiting for the oil to be extracted since only a small tube can fit down the dipstick tube.

I do see that you can pre-buy a 3pack synthetic oil change service online for Jiffy Lube for half price, so only $53 per change, but I'm still cheaper doing it myself and I feel like I'm using better quality oil and filter.
