It was the mass airflow sensor. If I unplug it, the car runs great. It's about $70 to replace.

Most likely a vacuum leak. Check for a hose unplugged.

Could be a cracked or misaligned intake hose allowing more air into the engine

That doesn't sound right. The MAF is metering fuel based on how much air it

I did remove the intake hose entirely, and yes it still runs. So, your opinion is there's still a crack somewhere,

If there's a crack or a vac leak a good MAF will give bad data because
