The cost difference for a new plug in vs a non plug in hybrid, at 32 miles you
save at most a gallon a day, less when it’s cold or freeway. That’s 120 or so a month. 1400 a year. I think the cost difference is something like 8 K for the plug in.

Used car is a different story, not sure how much you can get a used plug in for. My fusion would probably be around 14-15 K, and would be perfect for a HS kid
