That's understandable, because the NRSV is kinda "woke." It uses gender-neutral
language in some places (but then so did King Benjamin when he quoted Ps. 2:7). The ESV was done by evangelicals, but it has no evangelical bias, unlike the NIV which is a complete joke (not to mention anti-Catholic). The ESV is the translation most faithful to the original, as I've discovered.
