That is all based on donor commitment. No other school has done that, if any school knows how much it costs to run a P5 program without P5 Conf/tv money it's BYU. It has happened because of willing donors.
Now BYU is getting that P5 money and donor interest has increased. BYU does NOT have a money problem, if there are any restrictions it is from leadership who do not want to be excessive. There are 9-figure commitments and proposals in front of the admin now by people ready and willing to invest in major upgrades to LES and the broader BYU facilities. It's just a matter of getting approval.
Please stop acting like BYU doesn't have many willing and able donors who are willing to commit at a very high level because it is not true.
