She keeps getting locked out of Facebook, so she Googled a phone number to contact them to get help because she’s having a hard time finding a way to contact them through their site.

She was on the phone with a man who said he looked up her account and it says she’s logged in from China and that if she’ll download some software to let him take control of her computer to fix it, he can help her.

She was on the download page and called me over to ask if I thought it was a good idea. I said no, she shouldn’t cede control of the computer.

So, she asks the guy on the phone if there’s another way, and in his Indian accent, he says, “Pray to your god and hope he helps you” and hangs up.
