Ultimately - most fans don’t care if umps are better or worse today than in the past.
They know that technology now would be more accurate than humans umps ever, period = any mistakes by human umps today are less tolerated than ever before.

They’ll still have that. Sounds like MLB is leaning towards the challenge system rather than full ABS (robot calls).
