Yes, here’s a chart from Fangraphs on ump accuracy by year
I’m a fan of moving to ABS as soon as it’s ready (my preference is full ABS and we kill catcher framing overnight, but the challenge system is fine), but people act like umps are worse than ever when I’m not sure that’s close to true.

They’ll still have that. Sounds like MLB is leaning towards the challenge system rather than full ABS (robot calls).
