good money (early 2nd round) but after those first few, it sounds like it's up to how good your agent is and how much they can get out of the club, although their salary will not count against the salary cap so they might get bigger contracts. And another "although" the biggest thing in those contracts isn't the overall dollar amount but the amount guaranteed. But not a lot out there and it probably would take hours to find it. Even several AIs couldn't provide me the actual numbers. But one thing they did mostly agree on was: "Traditionally, many second-round picks didn't receive guaranteed contracts."
So I would think a great player figuring 2nd round or later could possibly do better with NIL than with NBA rookie contract.
