tough news for UVU, SUU, and UTU.Takes the WAC basketball teams down to 8 total.
They had 11 last season, but UTRGV moving to Southland I think.
GCU gave some muscle to the WAC for bball.

Interesting decision. I like the GCU add, Seattle not so much.

The same. GCU would be a good addition for that conference.

Love the GCU add. Seattle will find their way to the bottom half though.

Surprising that they went with Seattle instead of Denver

Don't be surprised if UVU moves soon too. Big Sky most probable.

Good choices for WCC. Seatle is Jesuit Catholic. GCU is unique for-profit Protestant/Christian. Both nice fits for WCC.

Yep. Good fit for Seattle U in the WCC where it was previously a member.

I know this is your shtick, but last I checked GCU advanced further in the NCAA

Disliking universities that are sued for fraud is not a shtick. And the WCC sucks. I will not apologize.

I don’t often agree with TCuz, but when I do, it’s about GCU.

Yep, WCC was a great step up from the MWC for BYU and it's greater institutional purpose. Better basketball also.

Huh, Seattle maybe, but a brand new for-profit weirdness in AZ? Don't get it.

It'll definitely give the WCC a third muscle in that conference.

For everyone saying Seattle is a bad add, they’ve had good recent success.

Seattle was in the WCC previously. Seattle made final 4 in 1958
