I think most were expecting Caleb to develop into BYU’s go to player-it just wasn’t in the cards for him. To the surprise of many he just was not a good offensive player. Despite given every opportunity it became obvious that his future was as a role player. I don’t know but my guess is Lohner decided that a new environment might help him regain his mojo and develop into the all around player folks thought he would become and if that wasn’t in his cards then he would be a role player at a team with more potential to win a championship than BYU. Hence, he transferred to Baylor.
