reason Hall and Khalifa entered the transfer portal, to join Pope in Kentucky. Pope loves both guys, knows Hall is an up and coming star, could be a huge star in their backcourt, as he has a lot more experience than a lot of their "one and done's," and has toughness that Pope really likes. And Khalifa won over BYU fans with his ability to completely change the offense in a very unique way - he could do the same at Kentucky, especially if healthy and able to get conditioned better. Imagine him ally-ooping to some of those consistently athletic above the rim players. It's feasible that both players were given some encouragement from Pope prior to entering the TP. Or not, as well. But for the players, the likelihood of building an NBA resume absolutely improves at Kentucky over BYU, one must admit. And who knows, the same would go for Jaxson Robinson and Marcus Adams, not to mention Adam's younger brother.
