He’s stated for a while a desire to prove he can play D1 ball
It sounds like that may still be the goal.
I don’t blame him. Sounds like he’s been a quality member of the team, but he’s buried in the depth chart and may still have his sights set on playing somewhere. I understand the motivation to find a better situation.
