The expectations of BYU fans around the Big Lone Peak 3 was so high and they ended up having only had 1 year together and didn’t pan out.

Now take a 5’10” kid who weighed 160 lbs in high school (maybe) from the same high school as the Big 3. Let’s face it BYU fans would have said another Lone Peak kid and this one has the measurable of a D2 kid. All BYU gave him was a walk on offer.

Utah State was the only school to offer him so he took it and excelled. He would have stayed there had the coach not left with the entire team.
