Dave won his first NCAA Tourney game in 2010. In his 6th season. This is Mark's 5th.
And Dave wasn't denied by the Pandemic, of course.
But you knew that already.
In fairness, they both ran into 1st-round under-seeded buzz-saws. With Dave, I think it was Xavier who went on to lose in the Elite 8 (we lost to them by a point if I remember right). And w Mark it was of course UCLA who went on to the Final 4. Both coaches deserve a little gratis.
