You have made a case for Pope doing well post season. Post season the opponents
are tougher (generally) and he has won half the games.

I still have 1 concern about Pope after this season.

Post season games are the hardest games to win, and they get increasingly harder

There's a clear trend: BYU keeps playing in tournaments where nearly everyone loses

He needs to ride the hot hand more and stop over analyzing things. Pull guys

It was just for the defensive possession - he said he took him out to save fouls

You don't mess with the lineup that's gone on a hot streak and got you back in

You do realize that every team except 1 ends every tournament with a loss?

So what has been Mark Pope's best Post Season Success as a head coach?

Looks like a pattern to get a Bball HC honored as an all-time great at BYU.

Like I said, not a major concern.

Without one ncaa tourney win or conference tourney title? Low standards

For a BYU HC? Hardly. Par the course. Particularly w his 1st squad being Covid-denied.

Dave won his first NCAA Tourney game in 2010. In his 6th season. This is Mark's 5th.

You talked about his current trajectory, which does not include a tourney win

Did I say they would've won a tourney game in 2020? I know one thing they COULDN'T have done that year, though:

Pope will have the benefit of good seeding. Hope he can do it . Rose only

Provide a better option with better post season success. I’ll stick with pope.

I'm not asking for a new coach. Just something I've seen.

The high energy style that BYU plays isn't conducive to next day games. Conference tourneys are problematic there.

Conference tournament results don't matter. Let's see what he does in the NCAA
