TCU is his Alma matter, probably would not have left Pitt for anywhere else, has been national coach of the year
And has won 20 games in 16 of his 19 seasons as coach. He is a very quality coach.

Wikipedia says TCU became his landing spot as a player only after his hometown team (UC Santa Barbara)
