But I wouldn't want any hardware in my brain. I don't want the "air to touch my brain" as one neurosurgeon wrote.
No matter how experienced your surgeon is, there is always a risk for complications. Plus, any foreign material in your body has a risk of becoming a hub for bacteria to grow. Definitely don't need a foreign body anywhere near my nervous system.
