How many G5 schools consistently recruit in the 50's or higher? most of the best G5's are lucky to crack the top 60's

I think this year we'll see a much better defense with the exact coaches as last year, the difference? Talent. The coaches didn't get smarter in a year, they got better talent. And if BYU were still a G5, our recruiting ranking this year would be in the 70's, not the 40's. If you want proof, just go look back over the last 25 years or so when they started the rankings. BYU has always hovered around 70's.

BYU coaches didn't become great recruiters all of a sudden, but BYU did become P4.
