crowd. Since younger donors would get the longer benefit from their donation and since the older fans had more money to donate Tuckett was forced to make that compromise to get sufficient funds to expand the stadium.

So good deal for fans then and good deal for fans now because of that national exposure in the 80s.

Down payment depended on the quality of the seats. Some paid much more than $1k, but still, it was a bad deal for BYU.
