They are surprisingly big when you see them up close and personal. And they are scavengers. And they are really cool to see nonetheless. Saw one east of Strawberry Reservoir a few weeks ago flying - pretty amazing!

Yeah. I just saw one on a pole at Deer Creek. Cooler to see them flying, though.

Bald Eagles are cool only in places where they are rare. They are kind of jerks

this summer near Craig Alaska, our dock was always swarmed. We'd have 30-50 there at all times. Pretty sweet.
