don't put a lot of stock into his comment. Davenport has spent 15 of the past 20 season in D2 basketball. He is a good speaker and knows how to play to the audience. BYU has more fan support and media interest than U of U has. He was probably more impressed overall with the BYU game experience than he was with the U of U game experience.

He actually did never say that he thought BYU was superior to the U of U, although it would have been interesting if the media had asked him that.
