not sites you go visit from some other place and leave - but it's absolutely spectacular, one of a kind and everyone should see it, nothing quite like it.

Sorrento is cool, as I said, there are a hundred places that deserve mention, it wouldn't displace any of the ones I've listed unless I was specifically prioritizing a beach vacation.

Capri is beautiful, but I don't prioritize it as much bc I see it as a kind of island getaway on the Med - and while that's great, but the Med and the Adriatic have a lot of islands and unless there's something that feels totally unique to me abt one, it's a big commitment to go get on one of them - again, unless island getaway is what you're going for. If it's not, I'd rather be in Amalfi or CT where I'm not cut off from everything else.
