I’m not saying it’s critical, but when that argument is made it’s usually not
Coupled with “we have 8 returning starters…”
It’s always, “the team will have another year with these coaches and in the program.” Unless you’re bring in a new HC or multiple position/coordinator coaches, every team will have another year in the program/system.
I do agree that having returning starters is very important, but that’s rarely brought up.
