The way I read this, the further right you are, the better your pass protection.
Or maybe it is just how fast you make your decision on where to throw the ball.
The lower you are on the list, the better you are at getting the ball out before the sack happens.

Pressure to sack rate

If I understand correctly, it is the percentage of the time that you are sacked
NOCAL_YFAN
10/25/23 1:52pm
But then being lower on the y axis would be good
JuicyJam
10/25/23 1:57pm
maybe. would be nice to only give up 1 pressure and 1 sack all season.

Or it means they're getting pressured a lot. I would rather be 1/4 than 1/10

the ratio of pressures to sacks.

So if you've played 7 games and were pressured once but were sacked on that play

Last I checked, 1/1 is 100%, so yes. This is a fun chart because it tells a
molodyets

however, it limits the volume to those who have over 100 dropbacks

I still don’t get it. If you are pressured 3 times but sacked once, that’s 300%
BYUCLA

1 sack out of 3 pressures is 1/3=33.33%.

Got it. I was confused by the “pressure to sack” verbage. Should be the opposite
BYUCLA

I thought it was probably just your ucla degree.

Yep, it should be labeled sack to pressure, not pressure to sack.

So Kedon faces slightly above avg time to throw, and gets sacked much less
NOCAL_YFAN
10/25/23 1:51pm
"Faces" is probably not quite right. Kedon throws the ball later on average.

By design. If every throw is 20+ yards down field it's a longer drop back
stansburycoug
10/25/23 2:36pm
Correct. "Faces" implies that the stat is dictated by defense.
dwhitebud
10/25/23 2:42pm
By design perhaps, or because he can't find receivers, or the D is dropping back
Karl Poppin

Jaren and Zach I would guess would actually be higher than Slovis

And some really good pass blocking OLs

So what are we to make out of Utah and Barnes from this then?

It really should be coined "sack to pressure ratio"

By the way, here are some of the sack-pressure rates of top QBs a year ago:
