Me too. That there are more moose in Idaho than Montana makes no sense. I know

moose expanded their range south after the near-extirpation of wolves in the Rockies since the 30s. I would imagine their populations are going down from the wolf introductions in jellystone, Montana, Idaho and their expansions into nearby western states.
